Each year, ESRA awards over 100 000 € worth of scholarships.

ESRA encourages diversity by providing financial support for students from varied economic and cultural backgrounds.

International students have several opportunities.

  • Joining the Ambassador Program
  • Applying for State financial aid (CROUS)
  • Applying for an ESRA Talent Scholarship

Ambassador Program

When applying to ESRA, students may request an Ambassador Program Scholarship. 

Applicants must provide a letter explaining the amount of scholarship requested, a description and proof of their financial situation (tax statements for ex.) and calculation used to determine the requested amount.

Ambassador program scholarships provide reduced tuition fees for applicants (within the limit of 50% of annual tuition fees).

In return, the grant recepient in enrolled in ESRA’s Ambassador program and is required to complete Ambassador’s tasks
either by giving school tours, answering future students questions, or helping the school communicate with their home country or any other activity deemed useful by the school. They are supervised by the International Program Admissions Officer and the school Communications Department. The scholarship amount
can be reevaluated each year based on student attendance and grades as well as participation to the ambassador’s program.

CROUS Scholarship

Registered students are eligible for CROUS scholarships. International students can obtain a CROUS scholarship in France if they meet certain residency or status conditions. EU/EEA/Swiss nationals may qualify if they have lived or worked in France for one year, while non-EU students must usually hold a long-term residence permit, have strong family ties in France, or have studied in the French system before (such as earning the baccalauréat). Refugees and stateless persons are also eligible. Applications are made online through the Dossier Social Étudiant (DSE) each year between January and May for the following academic year. The amount granted varies by need but can provide signifi cant financial support to help cover study and living costs. The school’s International Student Support Officer is in charge of helping student go through this process as well as visa renewals and obtaining social security card etc…

ESRA Talents Scholarships are designed to support, accompany and reveal the creators and technicians of tomorrow in the fields of film, audiovisual, music and animation..

The aim of these scholarships is to make excellence accessible to everyone, whether they are students, self-taught professionals, those with a digital background or young talents who haven't yet dared to take the plunge into these professions.

⚠️ Please note: if you are accepted and eligible for the ESRA Talents scholarships, you will still have to sit the ESRA entrance exam and finalize the admission procedure via Parcoursup.
