Housed in two buildings off the Avenue Louise, the ESRA Brussels campus offers image and sound post-production rooms, music recording studios, multi-station classrooms and practical workrooms, as well as a beautiful courtyard and relaxation area.
Students have year-round access to classrooms and equipment, providing them with the ideal setting for their studies.

ESRA International offers a state recognized International Filmmaking programs in Paris and the Côte d’Azur composed of lectures, workshops, short film projects and professional internships.

What are the entrance exam procedures for ESRA Brussels ?
The competition comprises 4 tests:
- The cover letter
- Individual interviews
- Film or sound analysis, depending on chosen department
- The 60-question general culture MCQ
You need to submit an application on the
https://esra.edu/candidature/ platform, fill in the required information, choose your competition date and take the tests. Admissions committees meet every month.
If I pass the exam at ESRA Brussels, can I enroll at ESRA Paris ?
No, it is not possible to take the competitive entrance exam at ESRA Brussels in order to enroll at ESRA Paris. However, it is possible to take the competitive entrance exam in Paris to enroll in Brussels.
It is possible to apply to several ESRA Group schools. The French schools in the ESRA Group are subject to the procedures of the French Parcoursup platform. This is not the case for ESRA Brussels.
Is the degree recognized at ESRA Brussels ?
No, the degree awarded by ESRA Brussels after 3 years of study is not recognized by the French Community of Belgium.
At present, at the end of the 1st or 2nd year of studies at ESRA Brussels, it is possible to do the 2nd and/or 3rd at ESRA Paris in order to qualify for the DESRA (bac+3 - level 6) or DESTS (bac+3 - level 6) recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) in France.
To do this, you need to complete the first year of studies at the Brussels school and sit an entrance exam (test and interview) at ESRA Paris. At the end of this examination, the Jury d'Admission de l'Enseignement Supérieur en France will validate admission.
Are there scholarships and/or financial aid available ?
As ESRA Brussels is not recognized by the Belgian government, there are unfortunately no grants for our students. In order to alleviate costs, we offer a deferred payment plan.
Is it possible to defer payment ?
It is possible to request deferred payment at the time of enrolment. Depending on your situation, ESRA also offers you the option of paying the balance of your tuition fees in up to 10 instalments. To do this, you need to specify this in your enrolment form and submit a request to our accounting department. This service will assist you throughout the year in the event of payment difficulties.
How can I find accommodation in Brussels? Do you have partnerships with student residences? Do you have on-campus housing ?
ESRA Brussels does not have on-campus housing or partnerships with student residences. On request, we can help future students in their search (links to websites, Facebook groups, etc.).
